Lowell Ku: What a Year for the Midwest Reproductive Symposium International
Lowell Ku, Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, and Reproductive Surgeon at Dallas IVF, shared on LinkedIn:
”What a year for Midwest Reproductive Symposium International! We had record attendance, and after seeing the conversations, collaboration, and energy throughout the meeting, it’s easy to understand why.
One of the new additions this year was having fertilyfe on site. I had the opportunity to sit down with Rachel Gerber Kule for the fertilyfe podcast, produced by Pursuit PR, to discuss something I strongly believe in: fertility care works best when everyone feels informed, heard, and supported.
We talked about how it really does take two to tango. While one person may be undergoing most of the testing and treatment, their partner’s comfort, questions, and support matter, too.
We also discussed the importance of clear information and shared decision-making. Fertility treatment can involve a lot of choices, and patients shouldn’t feel like they have to navigate those decisions alone. The best care happens when patients, partners, physicians, nurses, embryologists, and the rest of the care team can work together toward the same goal.
As we look ahead to another year of MRSi, I’m especially grateful for this community and its continued passion for learning from one another and moving reproductive medicine forward.
And stay tuned-I look forward to sharing the full episode when it’s ready!”
