Are you working in fertility preservation or looking to establish ovarian tissue cryopreservation (OTC) at your center? Don’t miss our unique 3-day intensive workshop focused entirely on theory and practice of OTC, hosted by leading experts at Rigshospitalet in Denmark.
What you’ll learn:
- Practical training in slow freezing and vitrification of ovarian tissue using bovine ovaries as a model system
- Thawing protocols and viability assessment techniques
- End-to-end exposure to the full OTC workflow
Expert lectures covering:
- Clinical indications and surgical aspects of OTC and transplantation
- Slow-freezing technique in comparison to vitrification
- Reproductive outcomes from ovarian tissue transplantation
- In vitro maturation (IVM) of oocytes in the OTC setting
- Ethical and oncological considerations (e.g. risk of malignant contamination)
