When Is It Time to Talk to a Fertility Specialist? – Fertility Institute of San Diego
Fertility Institute of San Diego shared on LinkedIn:
“When is it time to talk to a fertility specialist?
Timing can make a difference when you’re trying to conceive.
In general:
- Under 35: consider an evaluation after 12 months of trying
- 35 or older: consider an evaluation after 6 months
- Over 40: an earlier evaluation may be recommended
You may also benefit from seeking support sooner if you have irregular cycles, a known condition that may affect fertility, or a history of reproductive challenges.
A fertility evaluation isn’t just about finding a problem. It’s about understanding your reproductive health, exploring your options, and creating a personalized path forward.
At the Fertility Institute of San Diego, we’re here to help you take that next step with clarity and confidence.
Growing your family, two steps at a time.”
