Sallie Fell: Neutrophils at the Maternal-Fetal Interface
Sallie Fell, Biomedical Sciences PhD Candidate at Tulane University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m happy to share that my review article, ‘Neutrophils at the Maternal-Fetal Interface: Agents of Protection or Destruction?’ has been published in the American Journal of Reproductive Immunology!
In this paper, we review the roles of neutrophils in physiological pregnancy processes as well as their roles in pathological pregnancies, with and without the added context of infectious disease.
Special thanks to my mentor, Dr. Jennifer Manuzak, for her guidance during the review writing process! And thanks to our co-authors (Dr. Sydney Nemphos, James Prusak Jr., Dr. Amitinder Kaur, and Dr. Jamie Lo) for their contributions.
If you’re interested, check out the article here.”
