”Flowering Fertility began with a deeply personal question:
Why, during one of the most difficult experiences of my life, did I feel so unsupported between appointments?
Our founder, Clare Mansfield, spent four years navigating infertility, unsuccessful IVF treatment and the emotional weight of uncertainty.
Clare and her husband eventually travelled to Prague for egg-donor IVF, which led to the birth of their twin daughters. Several years later, Clare unexpectedly conceived their youngest daughter naturally at the age of 42.
Throughout that journey, Clare experienced excellent medical care-but she also saw a significant gap.
Between appointments, patients are often left to manage the fear, decisions, relationship pressures and emotional impact of fertility treatment largely by themselves.
Clinics may only see a small part of what is happening in a patient’s life and how it could affect their engagement with care.
That lived experience became the foundation for Flowering Fertility.
What began as a mission to help people feel less alone is developing into something bigger: a connected platform combining patient support with behavioural insight for fertility clinics.
Clare’s story remains at the heart of our work, but Flowering Fertility is being built for the many different paths, experiences and families that exist within fertility care.
Because patients deserve to feel supported throughout the journey-and clinics deserve better tools to understand the experience beyond the consultation room.”
