Devyanshi Dixit: Could Personalized Hormone Therapy Be the Future of Menopause Care?
Devyanshi Dixit, Program Manager at CLS Event and Publication and Conference Manager at the 12th Global Summit on Gynecology, shared on LinkedIn:
“Could Personalized Hormone Therapy Be the Future of Menopause Care?
What if menopause treatment could move beyond:
‘What hormone therapy works?’
to a more important question:
‘What is the right therapy for this woman?’
Menopause is not a single biological experience.
One woman may struggle with severe hot flashes and night sweats.
Another may experience sleep disruption, brain fog or mood changes.
For someone else, vaginal and urinary symptoms may be the biggest concern.
And the risk–benefit profile of hormone therapy can also differ depending on age, time since menopause, medical history, cardiovascular and thrombotic risk, breast and endometrial considerations, symptoms and treatment goals.
This is where personalized menopause medicine becomes increasingly relevant.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all prescription, future care could increasingly consider:
- Individual risk profiles
- Formulation, route and dose
- Symptom patterns and treatment goals
- Metabolic, cardiovascular and bone health
- Wearable and digital health data
- AI and predictive modelling
Recent research is even exploring ‘digital twins’ for menopause—computational models that could integrate endocrine dynamics, multisystem physiology, wearable data and other information to support more personalized care.
But personalization does not mean chasing a ‘perfect hormone level.’
The goal is to understand who may benefit, which approach is appropriate, how risks can be minimized, and when treatment should be adjusted.
Because precision medicine in menopause should not mean treating a laboratory number.
It should mean treating the woman in front of us.
At the 12th Global Summit on Gynecology, Fertility and Women’s Health (GFWH 2026), emerging developments in menopause, precision medicine, digital health and next-generation women’s healthcare will be part of the global scientific conversation.
