Mark Trolice: Could AI-Discovered Drugs Lead to No-Injection IVF?
Mark Trolice, Director of The IVF Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“No Injection IVF?
EMD Serono, has acquired two fertility programs developed by PostEra using AI-assisted drug discovery:
- small-molecule FSH-receptor agonists for ovarian stimulation
- LH/CG-receptor agonists aimed at ovulation triggering and male infertility.
EMD Serono assumes development and potential worldwide commercialization; the programs remain preclinical, so this is a technology bet rather than an imminent clinical replacement for gonadotropins.
Stay tuned!”
