Clinical Adoption of Quantitative Hormonal Monitoring for Patients Attempting to Conceive – RBMO

Reproductive BioMedicine Online shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Thomas P. Bouchard et al.:

“The findings of this new study from a team led by Thomas Bouchard support the clinical adoption of quantitative hormonal monitoring for patients attempting to conceive and provide the validation needed for expanded research into personalized reproductive health management.

The paper reports on quantitative urinary hormone monitoring using the Mira monitor, demonstrating accurate ovulation prediction and confirmation that is significantly associated with ultrasound-confirmed ovulation and serum hormone measurement.

The authors say this additional precision offered by quantitative measurements enables personalized fertility monitoring while maintaining the convenience of home-use hormone testing.

Published open access, the full paper is available ahead of press from the Female Reproductive Health and Fertility section of our November issue, now.”
