Paul Pirtea։ The Recurrent Implantation Failure Definition Has Been Confirmed by ASRM

Paul Pirtea, Medical Specialist in Human Reproduction, Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hospital Foch and Specialty Editor for Fertility and Sterility, shared on LinkedIn:

“Important!

Our proposal for RIF definition was now confirmed by ASRM!

RIF should be defined as the failed implantation of the estimated number of good-quality blastocysts to achieve a 95% cumulative chance of a positive pregnancy test.

Current literature suggests that RIF should be defined after 3 – 6 failed euploid-tested embryo transfers or after a number of untested embryo transfers, depending on age.”

Title: Recurrent implantation failure: a committee opinion.
