Saadat Hassan: Fathers’ Age Changes Sperm, but Does It Change the Embryo?
Saadat Hassan, Senior Clinical Embryologist at King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan, shared on LinkedIn:
“Fathers age changes sperm, but does it change the embryo?
The answer is more complex than 35+ = higher risk.
Sperm quality, DNA integrity, blastocyst development, embryo ploidy, and offspring genetic risk are different biological endpoints.
Male reproductive ageing is multidimensional.”
