PFAS Exposure Disrupts Placental Development In Pregnancy – Medical Xpress

These disruptions may increase the risk of pregnancy complications. The study underscores the importance of precise PFAS exposure assessment early in pregnancy and demonstrates the value of 3D models for evaluating chemical risks to maternal and fetal health.”
