“Walking During Induction of Labor?
In this randomized study, patients undergoing induction of labor were assigned to either a mobility-encouragement protocol or routine care. While no significant differences were found in time to active labor or delivery, walking during induction proved to be feasible, safe, and well-tolerated.
These findings support mobility as a reasonable option for comfort and patient preference during induction.
