Dietary Patterns: Impact on Sperm Chromatin Integrity Revealed – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This study is the first to epidemiologically investigate the relationship between dietary patterns and sperm chromatin integrity. The results indicate that adherence to an unhealthy plant-based diet is positively associated with sperm chromatin abnormalities in healthy men, suggesting that diet may influence sperm molecular quality.
These findings underscore the potential impact of diet on molecular sperm quality parameters, and support further research into dietary strategies for optimizing sperm integrity and improving male fertility.
Published open access, the paper can be read in full for free from our in-press articles section now.”
