Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) is transforming assisted reproduction by enabling early detection of genetic abnormalities before embryo implantation. By combining advanced technologies like NGS, PCR, SNP analysis, and Array CGH, PGT helps improve IVF success rates and supports informed reproductive decisions.
As genetic screening technologies continue to evolve, PGT is playing a critical role in reducing inherited disease risk and improving patient outcomes in reproductive medicine.
The preimplantation genetic testing market is projected to reach USD 1,135.0 million by 2030 from USD 690.2 million in 2025, at a CAGR of 10.5% from 2025 to 2030.
The procedure type segment comprises preimplantation genetic screening and preimplantation genetic diagnosis. Preimplantation genetic screening is highly demanded with the rising demand for assisted reproductive technologies.
Key technologies include polymerase chain reaction (PCR), next-generation sequencing (NGS), and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
