Asma Khalil: I am Incredibly Honoured to Be Recognised as Extraordinary Woman of the Year
Asma Khalil, Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at St. George’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had the pleasure of attending the International Women’s Day 2026 event hosted by St George’s, University of London – School of Health and Medical Sciences today.
I was incredibly honoured to be recognised as Extraordinary Woman of the Year – Academics. I’m very grateful for the recognition and thankful to be part of such a supportive and inspiring community.
Congratulations as well to Kerren Churcher, who was recognised as Extraordinary Woman of the Year – Professional Services.
It was a fantastic event and truly inspiring to hear from such wonderful speakers, including Baroness Geeta Nargund, and to learn more about the important work being done by organisations such as the Red Ribbon Living Well Project.
Thank you to Michelle Ellis and the team for organising such a meaningful and engaging celebration of women’s contributions.”
