Webinar on Uterus Transplantation as a Treating Absolute Uterine Factor of Infertility – ESHRE
European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Uterus Transplantation: A New Frontier in Treating Absolute Uterine Factor Infertility
Uterus Transplantation has emerged as the first treatment for absolute uterine factor infertility.
Today, more than 150 uterus transplantation procedures have been performed world-wide, resulting in more than 70 children born. A majority of procedures have been with grafts from living donors, such as mothers, and the lengthy and complex surgery has developed from traditional laparotomy to minimal invasive surgery by robotics.
This ESHRE webinar brings together expertise in uterus transplantation, to give an overview of activities, potential patients, surgical techniques and outcomes.
Date: 19 May 2026 | 17:00 CEST
