Breaking Stigma Around Women’s Health in the Legal Profession – City Fertility
City Fertility shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our Chief Corporate Officer, Cathy David, had the privilege of co-chairing the final event in the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland’s three-part Sustaining Success series: Women’s Health in the Law.
Hosted by the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland (WLAQ) and The College of Law Australia, the evening brought together an outstanding panel of experts to discuss women’s health issues that are too often minimised, misunderstood, or endured in silence.
From recognising the warning signs of endometriosis and perimenopause, to understanding the everyday factors that can impact wellbeing, the conversation was honest, practical, and refreshingly open. Nothing was off the table.
A sincere thank you to co-chairs Kerala Drew and the WLAQ team, as well as the panellists, including Dr Ashwini Margale, for creating a space where these important conversations can be had openly and without stigma. Thank you also to Ann-Maree David Gacicd and the College of Law Australia for hosting us at their beautiful Brisbane venue.
Women’s health is not a niche issue. It is a workplace issue, a leadership issue, and a wellbeing issue. Conversations like these help drive greater awareness, understanding, and support for women across every profession.”
