Leading Ob-Gyn Societies Issue Joint Statement Opposing Medicaid Interim Final Rule – ACOG
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The new Medicaid work and community engagement requirements from CMS put unnecessary burdens on some of America’s most vulnerable communities. Now, millions of people who rely on Medicaid will face more barriers to necessary medical care, and ob-gyns who are already facing challenges in their everyday work will be forced to shoulder additional administrative burdens.
ACOG is joining other leading ob-gyn societies to strongly oppose this rule. Together, we will continue to defend our members’ ability to deliver high-quality medical care to their patients.
