Advocacy Is Driving Change for Safe Abortion Access – IJGO
International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO) shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Jessica L. Morris et al.:
“On International Safe Abortion Day, we recognize the power of advocacy in driving change.
Started in 2019, the FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) Advocacy for Safe Abortion (ASA) Project has partnered with 10 national societies across Latin America and Africa—building institutional strength, breaking stigma, and using evidence to influence decision-makers.
We continue to champion access to safe abortion as an essential part of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
