Navigating Women’s Health Across Life Stages at SIGO – AOGOI
AOGOI Associazione Ostetrici Ginecologi Ospedalieri Italiani shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The 100th edition of the SIGO Congress takes place in Bari from 14 to 17 December, bringing together the various scientific societies of national gynecology: Aogoi, Agui and Agite.
The title of the congress ‘The Time of Women’ recalls biology and all seasons of women’s health as they are strongly marked by time, not only on the reproductive side but also in the other phases of life
Prof. Vito Trojano, outgoing president of SIGO, says: ‘What seems like a simple but inevitable law of nature, in modern times interacts more and more deeply with external variables, which are increasingly current and stringent, such as the complexity of care, the lengthening of average life and its quality, as well as social, economic and cultural factors. Consequently, the task of gynecologists becomes more and more that of giving correct information to women, from adolescence to menopause, both in the preventive and diagnostic and therapeutic fields in order to seize the ‘Right Time’ to intervene effectively.’
Elvira Grandone, Associate Professor at University of Foggia, shared a post by AOGOI Associazione Ostetrici Ginecologi Ospedalieri Italiani on LinkedIn:
“We will also talk about Peripartum Bleeding and Hereditary Hemorrhagic Disorders.”
