These two days in Baltimore, right after ASRM, were as rigorous and insightful as they were inspiring.
Clinicians, fertility clinic leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and technology innovators came together around the same fundamental question:
How can we make fertility care more scalable, efficient, and accessible, while preserving quality of care and the human touch?
My 4 takeaways:
- Understanding the economics and operations of IVF
A special mention to Steve Rooks, who masterfully broke down the mechanisms of value creation in fertility care, and to clinic leaders Pietro Bortoletto, Francisco Arredondo, Jaime Shamonki, and Beth Zoneraich for sharing firsthand perspectives on how to build, scale, and optimize fertility care delivery. - Turning innovation into successful companies.
Fascinating experiences from Santiago Munne and Errol R. Norwitz on the journey from medicine to entrepreneurship, complemented by dedicated breakout sessions for clinicians with Janet Choi, investors David Sable, Carli Sapir, and Megann Watters
- Beyond the hype: practical applications of AI in ART.
Great perspectives from Irene Alvarado (Berry Fertility), Melissa Teran (Alife), and Ula Sankowska (MIM Fertility) on how technology is already transforming reproductive medicine. - And finally, an outstanding Pitch Tank Showcase, with five startups presenting five approaches to advancing reproductive medicine.

We were also delighted that IMMA Health was selected among the 14 Pitch Tank finalists.
