Bob Miglani: Why Fertility Patients Walk Away
Bob Miglani, Founder and CEO at Hoot Health, shared on LinkedIn:
“IVF and Fertility clinics conversion is abysmal, not because the Doctors are not good or the treatments are not effective. It’s because the Fertility journey is really confusing and filled with emotion.
My wife and I have seen the inside of fertility clinics and are all too familiar.
Nervous couple meets the Doctor for a 30-minute eval. Get a stack of paperwork. Go home and google it. Get confused. Delay. Look around. Emotions run high. Delay responding to the patient navigator.
Patient confusion is highest in complex journeys.
What works is the calming presence of the Doctor – throughout the journey – on video.
Patients are drawn to clarity. Away from confusion.
Educating patients with the Doctor’s video is the way 24/7.
Not generic text messages or navigators on the phone 9-5.
I believe we Fertility clinics can do better than a 35% conversion.”
