Launch of National Fertility Plan Marks Public Health Milestone – Collectif BAMP Association
Collectif BAMP Association shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Launch of the fertility plan: a major step forward for public health!
Stephanie Rist, Minister of Health, has just announced the imminent launch of the national plan to combat infertility.
We have been waiting for this plan since 2022, following the Hamamah-Berlioux report and its many recommendations. But successive political instabilities had slowed down its implementation. Today, the process is underway!
We are very pleased to announce that the BAMP collective will officially participate in the steering committee, starting in January 2026.
This is a real recognition of our commitment for more than ten years. This is the culmination of a long associative journey, and the beginning of a new stage of collaboration with the highest public health authorities.
We will work to implement strong and concrete actions for the prevention, information, and management of infertility, based on our expertise in the field and on the expectations of the people concerned.
‘Integrating the people concerned into the development of public policies is not incidental, it is essential. We are delighted to move forward, and we will continue to speak out loud and clear for all those affected by infertility,’ says Virginie Rio, President of the BAMP Collective.
This plan is an essential step forward. And we will be there, committed actors, to ensure that it meets the concrete needs of the realities on the ground.”
