Devyanshi Dixit: PCOS Doesn’t Look the Same on Every Woman
Devyanshi Dixit, Program Manager at CLS Event and Publication and Conference Manager at the 12th Global Summit on Gynecology, shared on LinkedIn:
“PCOS Awareness Month | September
PCOS Doesn’t Look the Same on Every Woman.
- One woman may struggle with irregular cycles.
- Another with acne or hair changes.
- Another with fertility challenges.
- Another may have metabolic concerns without obvious symptoms.
Same condition. Different experiences.
That’s what makes PCOS so important to understand.
PCOS is a complex hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect ovulation, androgen levels, insulin sensitivity, fertility, and long-term health.
But awareness isn’t just about recognizing symptoms.
It’s about asking better questions:
- Could this be PCOS?
- What is happening beyond the menstrual cycle?
- How might it affect future fertility?
- What does it mean for long-term metabolic health?
- How is it affecting quality of life?
One diagnosis. Many dimensions. One woman who deserves the whole picture.
This PCOS Awareness Month, let’s move beyond stereotypes and encourage earlier recognition, individualized care, informed fertility planning, and long-term health monitoring.
Because managing PCOS shouldn’t simply mean managing symptoms.
It means understanding the woman behind them.
The 12th Global Summit on Gynecology, Fertility and Women’s Health (GFWH 2026) brings together experts exploring advances in PCOS, fertility, reproductive medicine, metabolic health, and precision gynecology.

This September, let’s turn PCOS awareness into better conversations – and better care.”
