Evelyn Ndinda: Essential Pregnancy Check-Ins at 32 and 36 Weeks
Evelyn Ndinda, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at The Mpshah Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Are you in the final stretch of your pregnancy?
You should have dedicated appointments at both 32 weeks and 36 weeks to monitor your health and your baby’s development.
During these monthly check-ins, your medical team will perform routine but essential evaluations to ensure everything is on track:
- Monitoring your vital signs.
- Checking your blood pressure.
- Tracking your weight gain.
- Assessing the baby’s growth.
- Listening to the baby’s heartbeat.
We highly advise having a detailed discussion with your doctor about your birth plan by the time you reach 36 weeks.”
