Alise Powell: RESOLVE Leads Capitol Hill Advocacy Day to Expand Fertility Care Access
Alise Powell, Director of Government Affairs at RESOLVE, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week, my team at RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association brought together advocates from across the country to Capitol Hill for our first in-person Hill Day in years, and I’m still reflecting on the energy and impact of the day.
The support, positivity, and sense of community in the room were truly uplifting. We had the opportunity to meet with 34 Congressional offices to discuss the importance of expanding access to fertility care and family building options, and the feedback we received from both advocates and Hill staff was incredibly encouraging.
I’m especially grateful to everyone who traveled to DC to share their stories and advocate for change. There is something so powerful about bringing people together in person around a shared mission. It was incredibly inspiring to see the strength of this community firsthand.
Looking forward to continuing these conversations, following up with new partners and offices, and building on the momentum from such a meaningful day!.”
