hCG and GnRH Analogue Trigger Show Similar Outcomes in IVF Cycles – Fertility Plus
Fertility Plus shared a post on LinkedIn:
“hcg and GnRH analogue trigger failure
A recent comprehensive retrospective analysis has provided valuable insights into the efficacy of different trigger types used in IVF cycles. The study compared 2,034 donor GnRHa-trigger cycles with 1,433 hCG-trigger cycles, revealing an early fetal heart rate (EFS) incidence of 3.5% for GnRHa and 3.1% for hCG. This data indicates no significant difference in outcomes between the two methods when properly administered. These findings are consistent with previous literature citing EFS incidences of 2–7% for hCG triggers, suggesting that the choice of trigger type does not substantially affect EFS risk.”
