”I’ve said I want to become a Clinical Embryologist… but what exactly does a Clinical Embryologist do?
Before now, I honestly thought embryology was mainly about IVF and embryos. But as I’ve started looking into the field, I’m realizing there’s much more to it.
Clinical embryologists work in fertility laboratories, handling and studying eggs, sperm and embryos. Their work can involve processes such as fertilization, embryo culture, embryo assessment and cryopreservation, all of which are important parts of assisted reproduction.
I’m still learning what each of these processes actually involves, and that’s what makes this journey exciting for me.
I have a goal. Now I’m learning what it takes to get there.”
