Horace Roman: When Public Voices Change the Story of Endometriosis
Horace Roman, Honorary Professor of Endometriosis Surgery at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Aarhus University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“For those who, like me, have been involved in the management of endometriosis for more than 20 years, it is clear that the information of the general public and patients about this disease has evolved dramatically over the past two decades.
The freedom of speech is largely due to the testimonies brought by personalities known to all. Among these personalities, Lorie Pester occupies a special place.
On May 1st, in Bordeaux, the day before her birthday, during a concert of extraordinary intensity, Lorie spoke about endometriosis and adenomyosis and encouraged women who suffer from it to never lose hope and to believe in their lucky star.
Thank you for these words, thank you for your fight and thank you for this exceptional concert.
Happy birthday, Lorie!
