“Most people don’t say no to IVF because they don’t understand it.
They say no because nobody made it feel safe to consider.

89% know what IVF is. Only 58% would actually consider it. That’s the real gap- not knowledge, comfort.

I see it every week. A patient sits down, and before I say a word, she’s already resistant. Already expecting pain. Already thinking ‘IVF is what you do when everything else has failed.’

That fear isn’t random. It comes from somewhere:

  • Whispered stories, never the full picture
  • Cost numbers with zero context
  • A culture that only mentions IVF when it’s a crisis

Here’s the problem: we’re having this conversation too late. In the room. Under pressure. When options are already narrow, and fear is already loud.

The real conversation shouldn’t start there. It should start years earlier, and it should sound completely different:

  • No urgency, no diagnosis attached
  • Just: here’s how fertility works, here’s your timeline, here’s what’s normal
  • A conversation you can walk away from and simply carry with you

That’s what actually closes the gap. Not more awareness of IVF. An earlier, calmer conversation about fertility itself.”
