Joyce Sung: Presenting Our Work at The Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand Annual Meeting 2026

”It was a privilege to present our work at The Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand Annual Meeting 2026 in Canberra.
Inositol has become a popular treatment option for PMOS and is the most widely marketed PMOS supplement. While inositol is included as a conditional recommendation in the 2023 International Evidence-based Guideline for the Assessment and Management of PCOS, our review found that a large proportion of studies evaluating inositol do not meet our trustworthiness criteria.
These findings highlight the importance of assessing the trustworthiness of evidence underpinning clinical recommendations, which has direct implications for patient care.
