New E-Learning Module on Maternal Vaccinations Launched – RCOG
Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG shared a post oon LinkedIn:
“We’re pleased to launch our new eLearning module: Maternal vaccinations in pregnancy.
This module is aimed at obstetricians, midwives, GPs and all professionals involved in antenatal care. It provides evidence-based guidance on:
- how vaccines work in pregnancy
- how to address patient concerns with empathy
- how to promote informed vaccine decision-makingMaternal vaccinations – including influenza, RSV and whooping cough – are offered free by the NHS. Getting vaccinated while pregnant helps protect both mother and baby from serious illness.
