Simone Ferrero: The Diagnosis of Endometriosis, From Vision to Publication
Simone Ferrero, Professore associato at Università degli Studi di Genova, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A few years ago, I started thinking about a book entirely dedicated to the diagnosis of endometriosis. Today, I am delighted to share that The Diagnosis of Endometriosis: A Practical Manual will soon be available from Elsevier.
The diagnosis of endometriosis has evolved dramatically over the last decade, with imaging now playing a central role in identifying disease extent and guiding clinical management. Yet, many women still experience years of symptoms before receiving a diagnosis.
My goal with this book was to create a practical, clinically oriented reference that bridges the gap between evidence and daily practice. Together with an exceptional team of international experts, we cover the diagnosis of ovarian, superficial, deep, colorectal, urinary tract, parametrial, and rare forms of endometriosis using modern imaging techniques.
I am deeply grateful to all colleagues who contributed their expertise and helped make this project possible.
I hope this work will contribute, even in a small way, to improving the diagnosis and care of women living with endometriosis.
Coming soon.”

Szabó Gábor, Obstetrician and Gynecologyst at Semmelweis University, shared Simone Ferrero’s post, adding:
“Congratulations Prof Simone Ferrero ! Thanks again for the invitation to contribute to this important book.”
