“A sincere, heartfelt thank you to all of you who generously donated and supported our fundraising for ‘Menopause and Cancer’ for ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ today.
I have not done treks like these before, but all I can say is that the experience was wonderfully satisfying and enjoyable, with lovely company while admiring the beautiful London landmarks along the River Thames!
The organisation was perfect from The Ultra Challenge Team. Thank you, Phoebe Cardew and Dani Binnington, for making it so easy to participate and memorable.
Time to start preparing for the next one!
Next week on Friday 18th September, Menopause and Cancer CIC (not-for-profit) is ‘calling for change’ on the World Menopause and Cancer Awareness Day.
We are calling for better menopause support with pre-cancer treatment discussions and long-term cancer care planning, improved training for healthcare professionals, and better access to therapies and specialist care.”
