Registration is Open for the ESHRE Campus Workshop – ESHRE SIG Fertility Preservation
ESHRE SIG Fertility Preservation shared on LinkedIn:
”Some of the hardest conversations in fertility preservation begin with ‘we don’t know.’
Advanced – stage disease. A gonad already involved. A germline mutation. A treatment regimen too new to have outcome data. The evidence often runs out long before the consultation does.
That uncertainty is the entire subject of our next ESHRE Campus workshop – and registration is now open.
The limits of fertility preservation: dealing with clinical uncertainty
- 13 – 15 May 2027
- Surgeons Quarter, Edinburgh, UK
Organised jointly by the ESHRE SIG Fertility Preservation and the SIG Psychology and Counselling, because these cases are never purely technical.
Across three days: fertility preservation when disease involves the gonads, rethinking the limits in advanced-stage cancer, genetic screening for POI, cancer – related germline mutations and risk to future offspring, recurrence risk after gonadal tissue transplantation, consistent messaging in multidisciplinary care, and counselling when the benefit is genuinely hard to estimate – plus a clinical cases session and oral abstract presentations.
Faculty includes Isabelle Demeestere, Rod Mitchell, Kenny Alexandra Rodriguez-Wallberg, Michel De Vos, Claudia Massarotti, Willem Verpoest, Allan Pacey, Joris Veltman, Luca Arecco, Verena Ehrbar, Mariana Moura Ramos and Álvaro Mendes.
Abstract submission deadline: 4 April 2027
If you counsel patients through decisions the evidence cannot fully answer, come and think it through with us in Edinburgh.”
