Endometriosis Prevalence Study Reveals Alarming Trends – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In response to the rising number of endometriosis cases in Japan, this study examines the current epidemiology of the condition, reporting on its prevalence, incidence, and medication patterns, based on a large-scale, real-world dataset.
Their results indicate a lifetime incidence of endometriosis by age 50 at approximately one-third among women, and one-fifth requiring medication for its treatment, highlighting the need for increased awareness and improved management in clinical settings.
The paper is published open access, available to read in full, from our in-press articles section, now.”
