Mina Popovic: Last Week I Had the Pleasure of Giving Two Talks at the 9th ART Fertility Conference

Mina Popovic, Global Chief Scientific Officer at JUNO Genetics EU, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper she co-authored with colleagues published in Human Reproduction:

“As our technologies become more sophisticated, understanding the underlying embryo biology and the limitations of our methods remains just as important as what we can measure.

Last week I had the pleasure of giving two talks at the 9th ART Fertility Clinics Conference in Abu Dhabi. One on chromosomal instability and the limits of embryo selection, and another on the shift from counting chromosomes to reading genomes in preimplantation genetic testing.

Although these topics approach embryo genetics from different perspectives, they raise a common question: how do we translate increasingly complex genetic information into evidence-based clinical decisions?

Analytical, biological and clinical evidence must come together to support the interpretation of PGT findings.

Many thanks to Human M. Fatemi, Barbara Lawrenz and the entire ART Fertility Clinics team for the invitation, and for such a well-organized meeting. It was a pleasure to represent JUNO Genetics EU and great to see colleagues and friends from across the field.”
