Marco Zaccaria: Adenomyosis and Fibroid Mapping in Focus at 24th SIEOG National Congress
Marco Zaccaria, Global Product Manager at ESGE European Society Gynecology Endoscopy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In the context of research on benign gynecological conditions, identifying adenomyosis by analyzing the MUSA criteria or highlighting the tissue characteristics (stiffness and viscoelasticity) of the pseudocapsule of a uterine fibroid are essential steps that every gynecologist aims to perform in order to provide their patient with an accurate and specific diagnosis
These details and analyses play a crucial role in minimally invasive surgery, particularly when the therapeutic choice is interstitial myolysis via microwave and radiofrequency thermal ablation: mapping a leiomyoma based on its stiffness or the millimeter-thickness of the endometrium-myometrium interface becomes a valuable tool for the surgeon to perform ablation precisely and safely.
That is why it is with immense pleasure that I will be participating in the 24th SIEOG National Congress, taking place in Bari from today through Wednesday, April 22, as a guest at the Esaote booth
I look forward to seeing you at booth #7 to showcase the state-of-the-art of our project, share the latest updates on the HS AMICA system, and let you experience firsthand the potential of our MW antennas and RF needles!
Speakers: Bruno Scotti, Giampaolo Cucchi, Giuseppe Loliva”
