Advancing Women’s Health Through Ultrasound Training in Egypt – ISUOG
ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The ISUOG Outreach trip to Luxor, Egypt is now all wrapped up, and what a great success it was!
This was the third trip in phase two of the program and included five inspiring days of both theoretical learning and hands-on ultrasound training. Our dedicated trainees have successfully completed their assessments, led by seven incredible new ultrasound educators \(NUEs\) under the guidance of our senior trainers, Dr Divya, Dr Ahmad, and Dr Titia.
Last night we held a closing ceremony to celebrate everyone’s achievements and award certificates in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Kamal Etman, President of the Egyptian Fetal Medicine Foundation, who continues to support this vital work.
This program marks another meaningful step forward in strengthening women’s health services and advancing ultrasound education across upper Egypt. The project even got a mention a the local newspaper, a sign of the impact outreach has on communities in need.
Many thanks to our sponsor, Mindray, for their vital support of this program.”
