Join HOPE Registry and Support Research on Pregnancy Loss – UCSF Center for Reproductive Health
UCSF Center for Reproductive Health shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Join the HOPE registry! We are enrolling men, women, and couples who have experienced pregnancy loss. This data will help us find patterns in recurrent pregnancy loss and better understand your journey. By providing us with your medical history and a saliva sample, we will be able to investigate genes that may be associated with pregnancy loss.
Once enrolled in this registry, you will have the option to learn about specific studies for which you may be eligible. One study will use genetic sequencing from parents and miscarriage tissue. Couples participating in this study will have the option of receiving the results of their genetic studies. For couples planning a pregnancy, you may be eligible to enroll in our molecular studies.
The goal of this study is to identify the causes of pregnancy loss and to develop methods for predicting future pregnancy outcomes. To achieve this, we are particularly interested in your future and past pregnancy outcomes. You will have the opportunity to provide updated pregnancy outcomes by contacting us directly or through periodic online surveys.”
