Aïda Pujol Masana: A Reflection from Inside the IVF Laboratory
Aïda Pujol Masana, Founder of Aïda Embryologist Clarity and Calm in Embryology and IVF Laboratory Director at NatuVitro, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Biology has its own pace.
As an embryologist, I’ve had to learn to wait.
To accept that I won’t always have all the answers when I would like them.
Biology never seems to be in a hurry.
We are.
Patients wait for answers.
Professionals wish we could provide them sooner.
Researchers continue expanding our knowledge and laboratories keep refining the way we work.
Yet biology continues to follow its own pace.
Working in embryology has taught me that good science is not only about knowing when to act.
It is also about recognising when not to.
We cannot accelerate embryo development simply because we would like an answer today.
Some biological processes need time.
Perhaps this idea extends beyond embryology.
Sometimes progress is not about moving faster.
It is about allowing complex processes the time they need.
A reflection from inside the IVF laboratory.”
