Michael Schindler: Large Networks or Small Centers – Who Delivers Better Care?
Michael Schindler, CEO and Co-Founder of Nexus, Meditex, shared on LinkedIn:
“Large networks or small centers: who delivers better care?
Reproductive medicine is consolidating, and everyone has an opinion on which model provides the best treatment.
What is missing is the evidence.
Comparable data between centers is rare, even though every clinic documents its outcomes carefully.
The data simply sits in different systems with different definitions and cannot be placed side by side.
Clinics using MedITEX IVF do not have this problem.
Their data is already held in a uniform structure, one that has to be standardized anyway for registry submissions to DIR, HFEA or ANZARD.
With MedITEX Registry, that submission runs directly out of the system.
This makes these centers ideal partners for multicenter studies and benchmarks.
Through MedITEX Cooperations, we connect research groups, professional societies and industry partners with clinics that want to take part in specific research questions.
Each clinic decides for itself whether and with which data it participates.
Data leaves the clinic only in anonymized form and only for the project it has agreed to.
Do you have a research question and are looking for centers with comparable data? Let’s talk.”
