Denny Sakkas: Driving Innovation in Reproductive Medicine
Denny Sakkas, Chief Scientific Officer at Everleap Fertility, shared on LinkedIn:
“Driving Innovation in Reproductive Medicine.
Each year, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Scientific Congress reaffirms my belief in the power of science and collaboration to advance reproductive medicine.
This year in Baltimore, that spirit of progress is on full display as specialists in everything from embryology, infertility, contraception, menopause, and of course, reproductive endocrinology, have gathered to discuss the most pressing issues and promising research.
I am proud that Everleap Fertility, as part of the IVI Institute, has again presented a wider range of research across numerous oral and poster sessions, sharing new insights that may contribute to improved patient outcomes, inform clinical practice and elevate standards of care across our field.
The IVI Institute continues to invest in research, not just in the USA but across ten global research centers.
Our combined science, technology, and clinical excellence not only drives meaningful advancements in our own clinics, but across fertility clinics around the world, establishing new IVF best practices and improving all aspects of fertility care.
That research doesn’t just validate what we already know, but informs new clinical operations and protocols, ensuring discoveries made in the lab translate into meaningful improvements that help patients.
Having dedicated my career to improving the field of fertility, I am proud to again contribute to the scientific program for ASRM INNOVATE, the Society’s two-day event dedicated to connecting scientists, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and investors to advance reproductive health.
Centered around the theme of ‘The Synergy of Science and Technology,’ the program includes talks by Jared Robins, Santiago Munne, and Errol Norwitz, and will feature presentations, pitches, breakout panels, roundtables, and more.
ASRM INNOVATE gives industry veterans the opportunity to leverage life-long professional experiences and wisdom to cultivate the next generation of researchers and shape the future of our industry with a reproductive medicine shark-tank event.
This event certainly aligns with the spirit of ASRM to turn fresh ideas into new, advanced industry solutions – a goal that the IVI Institute and its network has had at its core for over 30 years.
For me, ASRM INNOVATE represents the best of what our field can be.
Progress doesn’t happen by itself, and this kind of collaboration is great for seeding the next generation of improvements.
When mentorship, funding, experience, and imagination come together, and emerging entrepreneurs have access to the insight and support that can build awareness for their ideas, great things happen.
Being part of this event is energizing for me, to say the least, and I hope it becomes a mainstay at future events!
So, it’s fair to say that I am enthusiastic and delighted about this deep dive into how we can ensure the health, integrity, and advancement of this industry for decades to come.
I am proud to lend the industry leadership of the IVI Institute and Everleap Fertility to this event and provide a positive influence that will hopefully lead to the result we in the industry desire: More individuals and couples being able to realize the dream of growing a healthy family through the advances we help bring to life.”
