Natav Hendin: The Challenge of Predicting Imminent Preterm Birth and Timing Neuroprotective Treatment
Natav Hendin, Medical Doctor at Beilinson, Rabin Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper he co-authored with colleagues published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AJOG):
“Pleased to share our new publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AJOG).
Our retrospective study of 692 patients across seven hospitals highlights the challenge of predicting imminent preterm birth and timing neuroprotective treatment. These findings provide benchmarks that may inform patient counseling and decisions about repeat magnesium sulfate administration when delivery does not occur as anticipated.
Watch the 2-minute AJOG video below for the key findings.
Grateful to Moti Gulersen, Matthew J. Blitz, Burton Rochelson, Frank Chervenak, and Eran Bornstein for this collaboration.”
