Ranya Shamoon: Reflecting on the “Pause” in Menopause
Ranya Shamoon, President of Global Feminine Care at Procter and Gamble, shared on LinkedIn:
“As Menopause Awareness Month comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the ‘pause’ in menopause. Because life doesn’t pause. It keeps moving.
While this stage of life can bring change in a way that is not the same for everyone, we all share one common truth: it also comes with experience, perspective, a clearer sense of purpose and what matters most.
I have the privilege of working alongside remarkable women across generations in Procter and Gamble FemCare. Their insights and wisdom remind me of how much we can learn from one another, especially when we make room for honest, taboo-free, open conversations. A superpower that is still so under-leveraged!
That’s why I believe we have an opportunity to change the way we talk about menopause. To start the conversation earlier. To make learning about menopause a natural part of growing up. And to give future generations a fuller picture of this stage of life.
We can listen and learn from one another, and together remind every woman, at every stage of life, that confidence looks good on HER.”
