Revolutionizing Male Infertility Diagnosis with RD-Cyto – Prolistem
Prolistem shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Haoxin Shi et al. published in Life Sciences:
“Non-obstructive azoospermia remains a major clinical challenge.
A new method, RD-Cyto, measures RNA + DNA in single testicular cells and has shown high-precision stage classification with 100% agreement with surgical findings.
At Prolistem, we have offered this flow-stage cell profiling to IVF and andrology labs to improve diagnostic timing and stratification for azoospermia patients.
The current limitation for wide adoption is the cost and complexity of the technology, as it relies on expensive equipment and advanced analysis, making it less accessible for routine lab use.
A new peer-reviewed article has been published supporting this approach and highlighting its research and screening value.”
