Swarup Chakrabarti: A New Era for IVF Success
Swarup Chakrabarti, Research Analyst– Consulting at H.P. Ghosh Research Center, shared a post by Scott Isaacs, President of AACE, on LinkedIn about a paper by Marie Couldwell et al. published in JCEM:
“Endometrial health is a critical determinant of successful embryo implantation and clinical pregnancy. If GLP-1 receptor agonists can enhance endometrial thickness and vascularity independent of their weight-lowering effects, they could be a game changer in the treatment of female infertility.
In this regard, our study, ‘Intrauterine Infusion of Human Autologous Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells Improves In Vitro Fertilization Success in Infertile Women’, conducted through a long-standing collaboration with a leading infertility clinic, showed that thin endometrium and low vascularity can cause recurrent miscarriages, and that by fixing thin endometrium and vascularity using autologous cell therapy, full-term pregnancy outcomes can be significantly improved.”
