Yohan Kerbage: First Patients Enrolled in ROBOT ECO GYN Study
Yohan Kerbage, Associate Professor and Consultant in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at CHU Lille, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The first 2 inclusions in the ROBOT-ECO-GYN trial were made this week at the CHU de Lille.
A big thank you to the CHU de Lille for obtaining the DaVinci Xi surgical robot from Jeanne de Flandre which allowed the inclusion in this protocol and thus being able to evaluate, within a block dedicated to gynecological surgery, the contribution of robotic surgery versus laparoscopy.
Thank you to Prof. Lavoue Vincent for initiating this PHRC in order to seriously conduct a randomized study on robotic surgery in endometrial cancer.
Thank you to all the teams in the gynaecological surgery block, the gynaecological surgery department and the research team for their involvement and dynamism.
Thank you to these first 2 patients who trusted the Lille University Hospital for their care and who are advancing research.”
