“WARNING: Clomiphene Can Quietly Thin Your Endometrium
Did you know that using clomiphene can impact the thickness of your womb lining? In a natural or injection cycle, estrogen promotes healthy growth, leading to a lining thickness of about 8-8.5 mm. However, during a clomiphene cycle, the same receptors are blocked, causing the lining to grow less and potentially fall to around 6.8 mm — that’s roughly 1.7 mm thinner!
A closer look reveals that while oestradiol reaches the cell, the blockage prevents necessary proteins from activating the growth gene program. This means it’s not a shortage of estrogen causing thinning, but a receptor issue!
