Lise El Omari, Medical Director at Gynea, President of URPS Midwives Ile-de-France, shared a post by Gynea on LinkedIn:
“Free Gynea Webinar – 1 hour to take stock of ovarian masses on ultrasound!
I will be alongside Jean-Marc Levaillant , expert, co-president of the GREEG Research and Teaching Group in Gynecological Ultrasound and head of the DU ‘Ultrasound Exploration of Fertility’ at the University of Paris-Est Créteil to lead this one-hour webinar dedicated to the ultrasound classification of ovarian masses.
Whether you perform dating ultrasound in the context of abortion, obstetric or pelvic ultrasound, you have certainly already been confronted with an ovarian mass.
Functional cyst, corpus luteum, endometrioma, dermoid cyst, malignant tumor… This will be an opportunity to take stock of the precise tools for description and diagnosis assistance, based on concrete cases.
Meet us at lunchtime: come share your snack with us and chat with other practitioners!
A friendly and enriching moment, for both young practitioners and experienced sonographers.
Free registration here.”
Quoting Gynea’s post:
“The evaluation of ovarian masses remains a daily challenge in gynaecological imaging, between the need not to ignore a malignant pathology and the risk of over-treating benign lesions.
We are pleased to organize a webinar in collaboration with Jean-Marc Levaillant, obstetrician-gynecologist and head of the University Diploma ‘Ultrasound Exploration of Fertility’ in Créteil, to help sonographers better qualify these ovarian masses.
On the program:
- Know how to recognize the main benign ovarian masses
- Use simple criteria in a relevant way
- Define a course of action to be taken in the face of an unclassifiable mass
- Discover diagnostic tools
The webinar will be hosted by Lise El Omari Medical Director at Gynea. To register, go to the link in the comments.
Fellow sonographers, save the date!”
